FOG IN ST. AUGUSTINE

JANUARY 10, 2013

10 AM
Day 3 in the mooring Field.  We have gotten up every morning to heavy fog.  It does not burn off until between  10 & 11 in the morning.  Boats from all over the US & Canada are coming & going.  Not all are going south, what are they thinking?????  It is 11am & the fog is gone, the day is warm, partly cloudy & not a breath of wind.

NEIGHBORS ON THE MOORING BALLS
We have spent the last  days searching for the small parts we need for the water maker, we also managed laundry in between.  Even though we are still waiting on UPS for some parts & have not found a supply for a couple of hoses, today Rod will begin to assemble the main section in the boson's locker.

While he is busy I will try out the local bus line.  Hmmmm getting lost would not be good, I have my trusty map all should be well.  A great day to be out in the beautiful town of St. Augustine.

  1. Hi guys! We anxiously wait for every post. Sorry Linda, we're giving you the assignment of blogging before the wine! 8-)

How is the Ham radio going, Rod? Would you want to set up a day, time, and radio setting (you can tell I'm writing this and not Phil -- I don't know all the right terms) to try and talk to each other?

Just wanted to also wish you guys a Happy and SAFE New Year. Sure hope you two can miss the flu season while on the water. We both have it, or the remains of it. Been sick for a week. BLAH!

Take care...we're waiting for the next installment of "Life on It's Perfect!"

    Love Ya!
    Phil & Myrna

    1. Well Linda works on the blog nearly everday. It takes a lot of effort. The HAM radio install is on the list behind the watermaker which is commimg along nicely. We have both had our flu shots and are doing very well. We'll be here 3-4 more days waiting on WM'r parts.
The weather has been great low 60's to mid 70's.
Thanks for following and the comments.
      Later, Rod
