DIAMOND WATERFALLS
GARDEN RESIDENT

We took the 2 mile walk from Soufriere to the entrance of the Diamond Waterfall & Gardens.  For a small fee, the walk through this tropical paradise to the waterfall is not to be missed.  The water coming over the falls runs from the volcano.  It carries many types of mineral deposits & the water changes colors with the amount of certain minerals in the stream.

The flowers & foliage were exceptional.  The Pink Ginger flower grows on a 5ft stalk separate from the leaves of the plants.  Tropical blooms were in abundance, as were fern. palms, spice & fruit trees.

  1. Nice to have that compass finally pointing to 180, isn't it?

  2. It certainly is. Seems the daily pace has slowed & life is a little more simple. We are looking forward to seeing Grenada whatever comes next. Really wish we had more time to catch up in Trellis Bay, but we are still planning on a stop in Houston in the fall.
