SAILING AWAY TO BEQUIA

FEBRUARY 10, 2014
ROD ON THE STREETS OF TRINIDAD
At first light tomorrow It's Perfect will leave the mooring field in Chaguaramas.  We are glad we came.  The people are friendly and the nights are cool.  Because of the amazing price of fuel we filled everything to the top.  It saved us more than $300.00, this will be the last time we will see prices like this.

Tardieu owns our mooring ball.
He is a diver and cleaned all the growth off the prop and intakes.
We will travel 180 miles to Bequia and anchor in Admiralty Bay where we stayed at anchor coming south.  The beaches are white, the water crystal clear and you are far away from the sights and sounds of industry.  We have had a enough cargo ships, pilot boats, fishing boats, pleasure craft and dirty water for a long time to come.

The people of Bequia are friendly and Port Elizabeth is very small. We will stay a week or more cleaning the oily sludge off the waterline of It's Perfect.  Bob will also be put back into service.  We have missed the great water he produces.

It will take us about 36 hours to sail to Bequia.  We will update the blog after we get settled.  It will be great to be in beautiful water once more.

Take a look at our SPOT and watch our progress north.  http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0zJs3y2aI12XqZpbQ9bGysAgrqXGGoBjh
