DECEMBER 21, 2014
Craig & Angela left yesterday after a week aboard It's Perfect. We had a great time as the week flew by. We took a tour of the Red Frog facilities including beaches and villas. A golf cart came in handy as we wandered our way through the trails and small lanes from the marina to the top of the hill with rain forest all around us.

BOA FOR COMPANY ON OUR WALK IN THE DARK |
One night we had dinner at Punta Lava, a beach restaurant. Where we were seated you could hear the waves crash on the beach and feel the spray blown through the air. The fish dinner was exceptional as was the company. We sat with our drinks talking about the many places and people we have seen during our nearly 3 years away from our home base of Kemah. As we walked the main path back from the beach to the marina we used small flashlights to light our way through the darkness. Up ahead there seemed to be a small log laying across the road. Upon closer inspection we were standing by a 6 to 7 ft. boa constrictor crossing the road. He was not happy with our close inspection and bright lights and soon turned back into the underbrush of the forest. As most of you know snakes are not my favorite thing and I was more than happy for him to go. In the future I will be much more carful as I walk the trails across the island.

BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A SAIL |
We took It's Perfect off the dock and spent one night anchored in Dolphin Bay. The weather was beautiful and the dolphin played around the boat as we got anchored. Relaxing in the cockpit talking about the Texas and home was a little bitter sweet. We have not been home in more than a year and we are ready for a break to return home for a visit to family & friends. Our sail back to the marina was great. Light winds and sunny skies make our trip perfect!

ABOARD IT'S PERFECT IN DOLPHIN BAY |
Craig and Angela now have a 40 ft. Catalina on the dock at the Boardwalk Marina. Their weekends are spent enjoying the anchorages around Kemah while making long term plans for another extended cruise into the islands and beyond. We were sorry that their week aboard had come to an end but there will be another day for them to stay aboard It's Perfect in another new faraway place.
