MERRY CHRISTMAS !
Hope all your holidays were bright and full of cheer.  Ours began on Tuesday Dec 22 with our 5 hour trip to Kemah.  The closer we got the better we felt.  Arrived late for a quiet nite on It's Perfect.  Wednesday dawned cold and rainy.  We had plenty on our list for the day.  Picked up some supplies for the new rudder & plumbing supplies at Home Depot, then back to the boat to insall new hatch boards.  Chrismas Eve was a beautiful day, crisp & clear.  We hoisted all the flags, attached a few christmas lights & began the list.  Propane lines were attached, we can COOK! Then Rod cleaned the lazzerette.  Chistmas was windy, rainy and cold.  We had a wonderful day.  Saturday brought clouds & rain, Rod accomplished two big projects, the water heater was moved down lower in the engine compartment to accomadate additional cockpit drains & he replaced existing water lines.  With all that finished we relaxed with our feet up.
Sunday morning was clear, we put on hats & coats walked the docks.  While Rod tightened some of the rigging & installed some new hardware, Linda went about packing up for the drive back to Mckinney.
The drive home is always bittersweet, we won't get back for at least 2 weeks.  We are so close, yet so far from moving aboard.  The list at home is being checked off & our goal of a sign in the yard in March, is getting closer.
We wish you all a Happy New Year!  We are anticipating wonderful BIG changes in our lives &  a great new year.
