12  11 MONTHS AND COUNTING    December 1, 2009 - time is flying.  Rod & I returned from Kemah last night after checking off several small jobs from our TO DO list.  We have been to the boat 3 times since the Harvest Moon adventure.  The rudder came off 2 weeks ago & Rod is busy working on the design for the new parts he will have made to fabricate the new one.  He has recieved most of the new & stronger parts that had to be purchased.  The project will begin shortly.
We are  anxious to get moved aboard. We have been very busy working on the list to get the house ready for sale.  With hard work we believe it will be on the market in March 2010, priced to sell.  If all goes well we will then start the move to the boat, spending all available time aboard.  Rod will work until the end of October when he will have his Masters Electrician license.  Assuming the house sells, we plan to leave the Houston area, sailing east by the end of Nov, 2010.
To reach a goal you have to have a plan.
Thanksgiving - Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  We spent our's with the Ashby cousins & had a great time. In 2 weeks we will make a quick trip to NM to check in with family in  Cloudcroft, Alamogordo & Las Cruces. Both the boys will be gone for Christmas & Lindsy will be with her mom,  so we will be spending the long holiday on the dock in Kemah.  Yeah!!!!

  2. Hello Rod and Linda, good to see here that everything is good with you guys and the project is going well. Iara and I stopped by It's Perfect 3 weekends in a row and missed you, so we were worried about you. We were also there this past Saturday, everything good with her. We may go this weekend again if the weather is good, hope to see you soon! Cheers! Vini and Iara
