Life is good today. Rod called from the sat phone aboard Momma Kat at 7pm today. The boat is almost half way to the Florida Keys. The crew is doing great and the weather is improving. Yesterday they discovered a problem with a chain plate, repair is not possible but there is no threat to the structure. The sail was shortened to reduce stress. This slows the boats progress some but they are making good headway toward their destination.
