LEAVING WEST SHIP ISLAND, MISSISSIPPI

MAY 7, 2012
MONARCH HEADING EAST
Leaving behind West Ship Island, Mississippi, we followed Monarch toward Dauphin Island mile marker 128.  Monarch anchored in a small cove & we rafted up next to them.  Time for a visit.
Dauphin & Jody have their parents aboard for the beginning of their cruise so  we joined them & settled down with one of  Dauphin's famous margaritas.  Time for dinner & Jody did an outstanding job of cooking the dinner, leaving the steaks & sausage for Rod to grill.  MMMMM we ate too much & had a great visit.  We are all leaving early in the morning, so we called it a day about 10 PM.

  1. Great pics!! The moon. Especially the moon. Glad you are enjoying sundowners and good times on the hook. Always makes engine room shenanigans worthwhile. Like I was the one in there...but then again, making sure to pass the right sized crescent wrench can be stressful. :)
Holding down the fort in Kemah. Guess M/Y Going Coastal is the only one left to hold down Dock 23!!
Haven't inked a contract for Panama yet, so looks like I'm headed to a gig in Boston. Meet for clam chowder?
