IT'S PERFECT
BRUNSWICK LANDING MARINA |
July 2, 2012 - We arrived at Brunswick Landing Marina yesterday about 3PM, after 6 hours we were ready for a break. We chose the inside route of the ICW instead of going outside from Cumberland Island, it took about 2 hours less to get here than it would outside. Time to splurge & live on the dock for one night. Rod went into pickup the mail & we settled into refreshing air conditioning for the night & pork roast ford dinner cooked on the grill.
As the sun set a familiar Tayanna 42 came into the marina. None other than Jon & Rene aboard S/V Jon Ne' pulled into dock 3. After dinner we took a glass of wine & went down for a visit. They will be staying a month or so while we move on.
We completed a few boat chores, fuel, water, laundry etc. Tomorrow around noon we are going to make a short run & move north to St. Simons Island to anchor for the night. Then it will be north again towards Savannah.
