JASON & THE GIRLS ON MAIN STREET |
We are still in Black Point. A bad weather system passed through, high wind & rain. The holding in the anchorage is quite good, no problem staying put. We are thinking of moving tomorrow & slowly making our way to Georgetown. This is the first stop since we entered the Bahamas that we have finally slowed down. The pace here is contagious. We make a slow walk through town to pick up a fresh hot loaf of bread at Lorraine's, speaking to other cruisers on the way. Her mom takes the order in the afternoon & you go to her kitchen the next morning & pick up your fresh, hot bread straight out of the oven.
It seems we are just now catching our breath after a hard run from Florida. It has taken us a little while to change gears, but once you are in Island Mode, every thing slows down.
YOU GOTTA LUV IT ! ! ! |
