ANCHORED IN FRENCH ST MARTIN

June 2, 2013
ANCHORAGE FRENCH ST MARTIN

We are up early to enjoyed a sausage & egg breakfast before we gathered our papers & head in to clear in at Customs. This process turned out to be one of most painless check ins we have had. Just type your information into the computer & pay $7 US. That is it! Off we go to explore some of the small shops around the downtown area.

Prices here are good compared to other places. We stopped at a Sidewalk Cafe to have lunch & glass of French wine. With a view of the harbor, good service & excellent wine excellent.

On our way back to Its Perfect we were soon passing a 40ft sailboat trying to free themselves after running aground. We had just practiced this maneuver twice yesterday so we stopped to help. After a few minutes they were floating & on the move.... just barely. Within 3 minutes they were aground once more. After more help from Rod & David another successful maneuver was done & they were off again. That was our excitement for the afternoon.  There is always a project no matter where you are.
