(MY GRANDAUGHTER LINDSY'S BIRTHDAY!)

LEAVING PRICKLY BAY BEHIND |
After spending 7 weeks in the USA with family & friends, we are finally back aboard It's Perfect. We were welcomed at the Grenada airport by a hot, humid night & lines at the customs check in. We spent 10 hours traveling from Houston, now all we could think of was loading the taxi & heading for Prickly Bay & the boat. This bay is known for it's rolling anchorage. After a hard day in the air, my stomach was not prepared for the roll of the boat. Out came the motion sickness pills, a little too late...... Not the best way to begin life aboard, after leaning over the side for a while, I began to feel better. It was way past midnight before we had the batteries charged, the boat aired out & a path cleared to make our way to bed.
Trips to the states are wonderful, getting back home to the islands is exhausting. It took us 3 days of watching life go by in Prickly Bay & letting my stomach get use to the roll of the boat before we finally felt like beginning to unpack.

BLUE, BLUE WATER |
On Monday It's Perfect left the mooring ball, motored to the dock for fuel & left the marina behind, heading out into open water. There was a wonderful breeze, the sky was blue & we were on our way for the short trip to Mt. Hartman Bay. Our old anchorage was waiting in much calmer water. We set the anchor & watched the sun go down while the water gently rocked the boat.
We are so happy to be back aboard. It is much cooler in the evening than it was when we left in Sept. The water temperature was 88 degrees when we left, it has dropped to a cool, 87 degrees.
