Our dream really has come true.  After all the planning, working & dreaming we are really going to learn what life is like living out there on the water.  The long awaited adventure has begun.

Before leaving Dock 23 we were joined by family & friends to say good bye.  After so much work & anticipation it felt almost not real & our emotions were running high.  Craig made a toast to our new adventure & Rod cut the dock line with his fathers military machete.  This is it............... the beginning.

 

CUTTING THE DOCK LINES ! ! ! ! 

We will spend our first night at Offats Bayou, Galveston, docking at Moody Gardens.  Here we will spend a couple of days & try to grasp what we have really done.  Nothing will be the same again.  Our home is now on It's Perfect & our world will be where ever we choose to go.

We have made great friends in Watergate Marina & hope to see all of you who are planning a departure, soon.  The Blog will be updated when Internet service is available & you will have a first hand look at our daily life aboard It's Perfect.  Our phone will stay in service until we leave the US coast, so stay in touch.  Call & keep us company while we begin our new way of life.
