HOUMA DOWNTOWN MARINA - THE FINAL DAY

This is our 4th day in Houma. We woke to find Sassy Cat docked in front of us. Dock 23 must be looking kind of empty down in Kemah. There is a weather cell over New Orleans now, coming this way so we have decided to wait it out. We have ventured into the neighborhoods on our bikes & even found The Scarlet Scoop a fabulous ice cream shop, mmmmm good. After a good night's rest we will again be on our journey east to new places. The new generator is installed & checks out fine. There is always more to do but we cannot stay. New places await.

Ok, had to giggle at the statue n the park :) I just posted some pics on my blog of y'alls castoff. They were taken w my cell ph, so not the best quality but I played around w the processing.
