We anchored in the cove off Deltaville, Virginia on Tuesday afternoon. We are about 35 miles north of Mobjack Bay. The country is beautiful, very green, a mixture of hardwoods, pine, flowering shrubs & ferns. I am sure the fall color is spectacular, wish we could see it. The temperature is in the mid 80's during the day & in the 60's at night. We arranged with Chesapeake Boat Works to pull It's Perfect out & check the bottom on Wed. After loading all our worldly goods aboard, the bottom paint was about 6" below the water. Keeping the boot stripe clean has become a chore.
SANDED READY FOR PAINTING |
The bottom, except the part at the water line with no bottom paint, looks great! After getting a quote to raise the bottom paint 6 inches, Rod decided to do it himself. This AM he started with the sander & should be ready to start the paint tomorrow. A lot of work.

Linda, I'm shocked at YOU, sleeping with a yard worker! I am anxious to see the finished boat paint shot. Rod is doing a great job of keeping up with projects...

No more wind generator encounters, I am keeping my hands to myself. At the next stop I will ck into another camera. Mine is almost gone, then I will report finished projects with pictures included. The projects just keep on coming, nothing major yet. At the end of the day all is good.
