WHAT ABOUT "BOB"???????

FROM THIS TO FRESH WATER
BOB, SSEMBLED ON & UNDER
BOSON'S LOCKER WORK BENCH
After a long tedious installation let me introduce you to BOB!

CUSTOM MOTOR MOUNT

Everything went well yesterday with  the completion of  BOB.
You know the saying "Water, water everywhere & not a drop to drink."?  Well that will not apply to us as soon as we get BOB out into some clean ocean water.  In most harbors the water is contaminated with fuel, oil & who knows what else. The water we put through BOB must be free of petroleum products & chlorine, these will damage the membrane which turns the salt water into fresh water.  So with this in mind we will be very careful of the water we are in when we turn BOB on.  He most certainly would not want us to have to replace his membrane anytime soon.

PRESSURE GAGE

Today is cleanup day on It's Perfect.  It is amazing the mess you make while doing projects.  Once things are put away, swept, vacuumed & wiped down we will take the rest of the day off & be ready to move the boat south about 4 miles to just inside the inlet.  We are watching the weather carefully & may not be able to move down to Miami until sometime in the middle of the week.
Rod will soon blog about the purchase & assembly of the parts of BOB.  We anxiously await our first tall cool glass of desalinated water provided by our new Water Maker, BOB.
