Last night was movie night in the cockpit of It's Perfect. First up was, The Day The Earth Stood Still with Keanu Reeves and Kathy Bates. A couple of nights a week Rod brings up the 19in flat screen from the back cabin and hooks it up on the back of the helm pedestal. This is then plugged into the Pro Mariner Power Inverter which is in turn plugged into the cigarette lighter receptacle. All that is left is to make popcorn in the microwave and as the sun goes down the movie begins. The cockpit is the perfect place for a movie in the evening, it is much cooler than down below.
Rod installed the cigarette lighter receptacle to the helm pedestal when he purchased the Pro Mariner at West Marine in Charleston, South Carolina. These small devices can be used to power any small electrical device & saves on generator use. We use this inverter to keep our computers charged while running our navigation software in the cockpit when we are underway.
i am enjoying this post , you share your experience with us it is very interesting.
