ANOTHER VIEW OF PORTOBELLO

ENTRANCE INTO GREEN TURTLE BAY
Rod is running a few last errands and I am comfortably seated at Captain Jacks.  The weather is warm and rainy.  It will be nice to get back to the islands, it is a little cooler there and there is always a breeze.  If all goes well tomorrow we will be on our way.

MOM AND 4 HEADING BACK TO THE BOAT
Here in the anchorage there is a 41ft ketch from Texas.  The family that lives aboard have been out for years with their 6 children and 1 dog.  The kids are great and the dad reminds me of a proper headmaster of a school.  Very interesting family.

COUNTING HOUSE, BUILT IN 1750'S
Since being here we have seen several of the boats from Cartagena who take backpackers from Colombia to Panama.  Some are quite nice and some quite shabby taking as many as 14 people on a 40ft boat.  The back packers are all thrilled to be going.  Does not look like so much fun to me.
