LIFE IS GOOD HERE IN NEW MEXICO

RAINY DAY IN LAS CRUCES

MOWING THE LAWN
It has been about 2 months since I have made myself sit down to write a new blog.  There are many excuses I could use.  Honestly though the changes from our life aboard to our life on land should have been easy.  But for me not quite........ I find myself taking up projects just so I stay so focused and busy one day runs into the next.  I rarely answer the phone or look at email.  Facebook gets my attention for a very few minuets every couple of weeks.  Not sure what this is all about but it seems life on land has me overloaded and not my usual calm boat self.  So now I must get a grip.

ZUCCHINI RELISH IS EXCELLENT
Today I will post some pictures of our life here in New Mexico.  There are many things we love, gardening, watching the weather, feeding the birds and even cooking and canning some of the huge crop we are producing.  In between watering the pecan orchard and taking care of vegetable gardens we have taken up a new hobby.  Upholstery,  never tried it before but our sofa from the RV now does not resemble the original.  Not bad for our first effort.

TRYING IT ON WITH THE ORIGINAL BACK

In between visits from our boys and their families, sibling visits and a quick trip into Dallas the RV project is coming along.  It is completely gutted and ready for new floors, counters and fixtures.  By mid August we hope to have it ready to move to our property on the mountain 80 miles away where we will stay for a week or more.

Till then we have loved spending time with  friends and family.  Everyday is a new adventure here on land and It's Perfect waits patiently for our return.
