FLOODED ROWS OF PECANS |
Rod just finished watering the pecan trees. It takes him about 36 hours to complete and in the heat of the summer it must be done about every 2 weeks. Just a few weeks ago the nuts were about 1/2 an inch long, they have more than doubled in size. The weather is a bit cooler and the skies are more cloudy. August and September are the height of the monsoon season here in the valley. Seems odd there would be a monsoon season here, but there is already some rain falling every few days.

AFTER AN AFTERNOON SHOWER |
There are beautiful roses here in New Mexico, they love the dry air. I am in the garden sections of Home Depot and Lowes every chance I get.
