THE LIST JUST SEEMS TO GROW

SUN SETTING OVER THE MOUNTAINS
We keep checking things off the list and adding more to the bottom.  This is beginning to feel like our lists aboard It's Perfect.  Things are moving along and our plans are to depart Las Cruces, New Mexico the first week in November.  Rod is anxious to move into our new home, It's Perfect II.

Rod spent the weekend preparing to water the trees on Wednesday.  Picking up branches...check, mowing...check, running the borders with the tractor...check.  He even took the time to mow the lawns.  It will take him about 30 hours to water about 18 acres with well water.  When finished there will only be one more time to water before we leave.  Just watching him you would think he had done this all his life.
I have just about finished canning all the jam, green tomato relish, zucchini relish, vegetables and roast beef that I can stand.  I think this round of being domestic is all I can handle for another couple of years.  Life here on the porch is beautiful.

The cruising guides arrived and we are hooked.  Originally we thought we might make it up to Maine for the fall colors.  Of course once we arrive in Maine we will be so close to Canada we just must go.  Newfoundland has caught our imagination and I think at least one more stamp in our passports is in order.  Of course once we are in Newfoundland, Greenland is just not that far away.  We will see which way the wind blows in 2016.
